Need to check out how a few things work in Moodle? Afraid to try them in your production site? Head on over to the Moodle Demonstration site located at http://demo.moodle.org/. They have three different sets of logins available – admin, teacher, and student. The site and database are refreshed every hour. This would be a great place to let your teachers and staff play around before getting their hands in a production environment.

Today I was able to accomplish getting objects in Second Life talking with our Moodle test server. The registration booth takes your Second Life avatar and creates an association to your Moodle username.
Some things you will need are: the compressed archive of the Sloodle install files, access to your Moodle server (to place these files on the server – in the MOD directory), the address of your Moodle server, and a few odds and ends.
It basically just takes time. There is not a whole lot of documentation out there.
